Michael Lacey's Racial Slur Caught on Tape

Michael Lacey, co-owner and Editor in Chief of Village Voice Media, which owns a chain of alt weekly papers around the US including the Village Voice in New York, was caught on video making a racial slur at a dinner honoring an Afro-American journalist. Lacey, has referred to himself as, "Self Proclaimed Asshole in Charge."  Lacey and his partner Jim Larkin are making an estimated $24 million a year from prostitution ads on their Backpage.com site.
